Asoke
อโศก — The interchange where Bangkok connects
Sukhumvit's crossroads, where BTS meets MRT, with Benjakitti Forest Park a short walk south.
Asoke is the hinge of the city: BTS over MRT, office towers over Terminal 21, ten thousand commuters crossing at once. Hotels and serviced apartments stack around the junction; Srinakharinwirot University keeps a green campus hiding behind Soi 23's dining row; Soi Cowboy's neon runs its nightly parade one block south. As a base it is hard to beat: everywhere, in every direction, is easy from Asoke.
