Lang Suan runs one green kilometre from Chit Lom BTS to Lumpini Park, and along it Bangkok keeps its calmest luxury: mature trees, embassy residences, and the city's most expensive condos sold without billboards. Mornings belong to the park gate, evenings to a handful of discreet restaurants. It is central Bangkok with the volume turned all the way down.
