ICONSIAM landed on this bank like a spaceship and brought the river back into fashion: luxury towers now rise over what was a district of godowns and gold-teak piers. The old Khlong San market still runs its evening rhythm behind the glass, warehouse compounds host design studios and coffee roasters, and the Gold Line shuttle links it all to the BTS. Sunset across to the Bangrak skyline is the west bank's daily show.
