Sathorn Pier
ท่าเรือสาทร
Where the BTS meets the river — the interchange under Saphan Taksin that starts every boat journey up the Chao Phraya.
The central pier — where the BTS at Saphan Taksin meets the river system: express boats up the Chao Phraya, the ICONSIAM shuttle boat, and hotel boats fanning out. Chaotic at rush hour, self-explanatory once you've done it once. This is the river network's front desk.

Using it
- Rail and boat services run to headways rather than published minute-by-minute timetables; the atlas quotes typical times, never a schedule.
- Stored-value cards work within a single operator, not across all of them.
Check fares, first and last service, and ticket types when you arrive — we have no verified official site for this one.
