Pratunam splits the canal into two services — riding across it means getting off and boarding the next boat.
Riding the boat
- Pay at the pier booth or to the conductor on board — cash, ฿17–36 on the express boats; the blue tourist boat is ฿40.
- Boats stop briefly and don't always tie up: step on deliberately, hold the rail, and let the crew tell you when.
- Service thins out sharply in the evening and stops well before the trains do.
- Rain and river traffic move the timings; treat any quoted duration as typical, not scheduled.
No operator site for this one — you pay at the pier, in cash.
