Riding the Skytrain
- Trains run from about 05:30 to midnight: every 3–4 minutes at rush hour, 6–8 minutes off-peak. No minute timetable to plan around.
- Buy a single-journey ticket from the machines (coins or a QR payment), or get a Rabbit card at the ticket office (฿200, offices open 06:00–24:00). Bank cards don't work at BTS gates.
- Platforms are past the gates on the upper level; the concourse below usually connects straight into the skywalk and the malls.
- No food or drink past the gates, and that includes an open water bottle.
