National Museum
พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พระนคร
Royal chariots, gilded funeral carriages and a former palace of treasures beside Sanam Luang — Thailand's attic, gloriously overstuffed.
Thailand's attic: the largest museum in Southeast Asia, filling a former palace with royal chariots, Ban Chiang pottery, and rooms of Buddhas. It rewards a slow morning; pick a few halls or you'll drown in it.
