Baan Kudichin Museum
พิพิธภัณฑ์บ้านกุฎีจีน
A family house turned museum of Kudi Chin's Portuguese-Thai Catholics, a lane away from Santa Cruz Church.
A descendant of the Portuguese soldiers who settled here after Ayutthaya fell opened the museum in 2017, in a house built under King Rama VII. Heirlooms, photos and family recipes explain why this Thonburi lane has a Catholic church, Portuguese surnames and its own sponge cakes. Entry is free (donations welcome), and it's closed on Mondays.
