Wongwian Yai Station
สถานีวงเวียนใหญ่
Bangkok's terminus of the Maeklong line — the first leg, to Maha Chai, of the run to the umbrella market.
The toy-sized terminus of the Mae Klong line, hidden in a Thonburi market soi — hourly trains crawl out through backyards to Maha Chai in about an hour. For the umbrella market, cross by ferry to Tha Chalom and take a second train from Ban Laem.

Checked 10 Oct 2026 against timeout.com, openstreetmap.org, wikidata.org. Things change: closures for royal ceremonies and holidays are common.
Using it
- Rail and boat services run to headways rather than published minute-by-minute timetables; the atlas quotes typical times, never a schedule.
- Stored-value cards work within a single operator, not across all of them.
Check fares, first and last service, and ticket types when you arrive — we have no verified official site for this one.
